RastereX RxView R5 displays and prints over 300 different file formats including the following file types: MS Office files, CAD files, Raster files (including multi-page TIFF), Adobe PDF, Plot files, Pictures, Documents, Spreadsheets, and many more. Advanced Functionality; New CAD and Office toolbars for better handling of these formats, COM-based component architecture displays multiple files simultaneously. 3D drawing support includes; IGES, ACIS, STL, STEP, Solid Works, Catia, Pro/Engineer and Inventor parts, 3D files can be rotated and sectioned and measured, Each 3D Filter except STL has to be purchased and is licensed individually.2D drawing support includes; AutoCAD (incl. AutoCAD 2002), Micro Station, ME10/30, HPGL etc. Includes multiple and split windows, thumbnail and preview support, view selection, Bird's Eye view, magnifying cursor, layer control, pen table manipulation and Watermark printing. Multi-page functionality for documents and TIFF files. Calibration and snap functions for take-off measurements on drawing files, previous versions of files can be compared with the differences highlighted. Use the Shell Extension and RxView is fully integrated into Windows Explorer enabling file preview of supported formats, directly within Explorer. Shell Extension Activate the Shell Extension by selecting it from the Microsoft Explorer "View" and "Explorer" menu. The shell extension allows a preview of all supported files to be displayed when selected. QuickView; The QuickView feature enables you to create a miniature image of the active file. This miniature view then appears in a small window in the File Open dialog box and in the File Explorer, and will help you to identify files before loading them. Plug-ins; Load plug-ins to RxView to add further functionality. Plug-in states are saved when RxView is closed and are restored when the next session is started. A plug-in development wizard is available.
