WIDEmail Scan-to-Email Utility

WIDEmail is a program designed to automate electronic mailing of scanned wide format image files. Until now the common task of e-mailing scanned wide format images could require that you use up to three different applications with subsequent disk-saves. With a single press of a button, WIDEmail takes care of scanning, file compression and opens a fresh email with your image file attached and ready to go.

WIDEmail supports all Contex scanners with one touch scan buttons and Still-image-interface (STI) support on Windows 98, 98SE, ME, 2000, XP.

Here are some of the main features obtainable through this application:

  • Options for making quality and compression settings for your scanned image.
  • Set your standard preferences. WIDEmail remembers and uses your latest quality and compression settings for following WIDEmail jobs.
  • With your preferences set - a single press of a button will perform all the steps necessary to prepare your image for e-mailing.
  • WIDEmail can be activated from the scanner's operator's panel (specific scanner models only).
